Vizualna podoba glasbene skupine

Namen diplomske naloge je bil izdelati brošuro za album skupine Hogminister. V teoretičnem delu je bila najprej raziskana povezava glasbene in vizualne umetnosti, v kar spadajo naslovnice albumov, brošure, glasbeni videi, plakati in podobno. Bolj podrobno je bila raziskana brošura in njeni glavni sestavni deli, to sta naslovnica in vsebina. Raziskana sta prav tako bila žanra, znotraj katerih igra skupina, in naslovnice v teh žanrih. Del teorije je bil še posvečen retrofuturizmu in fraktalom v umetnosti, saj sta obe temi bili uporabljeni za izdelavo brošure. V eksperimentalnem delu je predstavljena vsa programska oprema, ki je bila uporabljena pri izdelavi brošure, nato pa nekaj o glasbeni skupini, o predpripravah na izdelavo in nato proces izdelave brošure za zgoščenko ter vseh elementov, ki spadajo zraven. Za oblikovanje brošure smo uporabili programe Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign, Adobe Photoshop, Mandelbulb 3D in Chaotica.

Abstract

The purpose of the thesis was to create a brochure for the album of the band Hogminister. In the theoretical part, the connection between music and visual arts was first explored, including album covers, brochures, music videos, posters, etc. More specifically, the brochure and its main components, cover, and content, were examined. The genres within which the band plays and the album covers in those genres were also researched. A part of the theory was also dedicated to retrofuturism and fractals in art, as both topics were used in the creation of the brochure. The experimental part presents all the software used in creating the brochure, followed by information about the music band, preparations for the creation, and the process of making the brochure for the CD along with all accompanying elements. For the design of the brochure, we used Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign, Adobe Photoshop, Mandelbulb 3D, and Chaotica.
