Abstract
Inkapsulirana učinkovina je z liposomsko ovojnico zaščitena pred zunanjimi vplivi in degradacijo, zato so liposomi učinkoviti dostavni sistemi zdravilnih učinkovin do tarčnih celic.

Title:Determining the encapsulation efficiency of liposomal vitamin C
Abstract:
Vitamin C is already well known due to its numerous positive effects on the body and health. As the most widespread antioxidant, it is found in various cosmetic, pharmaceutical and food products. There is an increasing interest among consumers in more advanced formulations of vitamin C in liposomal form. It is said to be significantly more effective in achieving medicinal effects than the classic powdered form of vitamin C, as absorption and biological availability in the body are better. The encapsulated active ingredient is protected from external influences and degradation by the liposomal membrane, making liposomes effective delivery systems for active ingredients to target cells. I was interested in how much vitamin C actually remains in the liposomes. I checked the efficiency of encapsulation of vitamin C in liposomes using a coulometric titration with the example of a dietary supplement. The method is simple, fast, reliable, and inexpensive. The results shows that the encapsulation efficiencies in the
