Abstract
V diplomski nalogi primerjalno analiziram tri izbrana dela slovenskih avtorjev oziroma avtoric iz slovenske skupnosti v italijanskem zamejstvu, to so Mornar na kozi Miroslava Košute, Moj Trst Bogomile Kravos in P'nče Eveline Umek. Ta tri izbrana dela povezuje skupna značilnost avtobiografskega pisanja.

Title:Autobiographical writing in the Slovenian Minority in Italy: comparative analysis of three selected works by Miroslav Košuta, Bogomila Kravos and Evelina Umek
Abstract:
This diploma thesis focuses on the comparative analysis of three selected works by Slovenian authors from the Slovenian community abroad in Italy, namely Mornar na kozi (Sailor on the Goat) by Miroslav Košuta, Moj Trst (My Trieste) by Bogomila Kravos and P'nče (Little Girl) by Evelina Umek. These three selected works share the common characteristic of autobiographical writing. The biographies of the authors and their coming-of-age stories from their selected works will be presented. The motifs of growing up abroad in Italy, historically shaped by the time of the fascist regime and later by the position of the Slovenian minority in post-war Italy, are emphasised. It is interesting to compare the points of view, to work out the difference between autobiographical narration and the use of the third person narrator in a work about the author's personal experiences, and to ask whether this difference has a significant influence on the literary images of growing up abroad. The motifs of growing up in the works will also be compared according to the gender of the authors and the period of growing up depicted, i.e. early childhood and adolescence.
