In recent years, there have been more and more electric vehicles on our roads.
Not only because of environmental concerns, but also because of advances
in charging infrastructure and batteries. Despite the many advantages of
electric vehicles, owners often face so-called ”range anxiety” - the fear of
running out of battery power, and the potential uncertainty of finding a
suitable charging station. The diploma paper describes the process of designing
and developing an app that optimises the route to reduce the fear
of running out of battery, while also including information on charging station
providers, available payment methods, and any special requirements for
using a particular charging station.
