Abstract
Predmet magistrske naloge je prostorsko oblikovanje in načrtovanje označevalnega sistema epa Božanska komedija pesnika Danteja Alighierija. Naloga obsega oblikovno, slogovno in vsebinsko analizo treh delov Božanske komedije, Pekel, Vice in Raj, celostno analizo dela oblikovalca označevalnih sistemov, principe orientacije in dezorientacije v prostoru ter nazadnje analizo zaznavanja Ljubljane s strani Ljubljančanov.

Title:Spatial design and design of signage system of poet Dante Alighieri's epic The Divine Comedy
Abstract:
The focus of the master's thesis is the spatial design and planning of the marking system within the epic Divine Comedy by the poet Dante Alighieri. This selected epic stands as a paramount work in medieval literature, with significant content and cohesive design aesthetics. The meticulously organized outer structure of the epic is segmented into spatial sections that the poet traverses. The task involves an analysis of design, style, and content within three parts of the Divine Comedy: Hell, Vice, and Paradise, a comprehensive analysis of the work of the designer of wayfinding systems, the principles of orientation and disorientation in space, and finally an analysis of the perception of Ljubljana by the people of Ljubljana. The objective of the master's thesis is to convey the potential of an imaginatively constructed space, inspired by real historical events and figures from the late Italian Middle Ages, in today's living space of the author of the master thesis — in the city of Ljubljana.
