Abstract
V magistrski nalogi raziskujem temo predšolske vzgoje in terapevtskega jahanja ter odkrivam možnosti njune simbioze. Pri tem sledim načelom montessori vzgoje – prostor vrtca mora delovati kot pripravljeno okolje, kjer otroci svobodno sprejemajo dejavnosti, ki jih opravljajo. Vzgoja tako ne prihaja zgolj od podajanja znanja vzgojitelja, temveč nanjo vpliva tudi okolje, v katerega je otrok postavljen – prostor postane tretji učitelj. Lokacija projekta magistrske naloge se nahaja v neposredni bližini dvorca Rakičan in obravnava sedaj degradirano območje z zapuščenimi objekti – hlevi. V obstoječem hlevu s prosto tlorisno zasnovo prepoznavam potencial za zasnovo novega vrtca. Med obstoječo steberno konstrukcijo vstavljam programske volumne za tehnično in strokovno osebje vrtca. Prostor, ki se ustvarja med volumni, tako postane velik večnamenski prostor, kjer prihaja do interakcije celotnega osebja vrtca in otrok. Poleg obstoječega objekta zasnujem dva volumna z igralnicami in nadkrito manežo, ki jih obdaja zeleno okolje.

Title:Conceptual design of the Montessori kindergarten and therapeutic riding centre in Rakičan
Abstract:
In my master’s thesis, I explore the topic of preschool education and therapeutic riding and discover the possibilities of their symbiosis. In doing so, I follow the principles of montessori education that the space of the kindergarten should act as a prepared environment where children freely accept the activities they perform. Education thus comes not only from imparting the knowledge of the educator, but also through the environment in which the child is placed – the space becomes the third teacher. The location of the master’s thesis project is located in the immediate vicinity of the Rakičan mansion and deals with the now degraded area with abandoned buildings – stables. In the existing stable with a free floor plan, I recognize the potential for the design of a new kindergarten. Between the existing column construction, I insert program volumes for technical and professional staff of the kindergarten. The space created between the volumes thus becomes a large multi-purpose space, where the entire staff of the kindergarten and children interact. In addition to the existing building, I am designing two volumes with playrooms and a ridding hall surrounded by green environment.
