The aim of the thesis is to design a learning trail for pupils in the last three years of primary
school and for secondary school pupils through the main natural and cultural heritage sites of
the municipality of Kostanjevica na Krki. The trail can also be used as a walking or cycling route
for tourists who want to learn about the natural and cultural heritage of the municipality. It
coincides with the municipality's spatial plan through the construction of cycle and pedestrian
paths linking the municipality with neighbouring municipalities. The trail has designated
stopping points which intertwine the geographical and historical content of the study area.
The final product can be used by the Municipality of Kostanjevica na Krki as a tool for visitors
to get to know the natural and cultural sights of the town and its surroundings, as well as to
provide the opportunity for pupils in the last three years of primary school and for students
to go on excursions through the natural and cultural heritage of Kostanjevica na Krki.
