Abstract
Ta omogoča hiter in celovit vpogled v ustreznost uporabljenega lepila in geometrije spoja v različnih pogojih. Ugotovili smo, da izpeljani korekcijski faktorji omogočajo napoved napetosti v zgodnjih fazah razvoja, kar prispeva k razvoju zanesljivejših in trajnejših izdelkov.

Title:Determining the load capacity of a clip glued to a decorative surface
Abstract:
The research focuses on defining the method for determining the load-bearing capacity of bonded joints in the early stages of product development, where available data is usually limited, reducing the accuracy of load-bearing predictions. The search for a solution involved the design of a testing facility, the fabrication of samples, and the execution of measurements under various conditions. We also conducted specialized computer simulations of the same joint to compare the experimental results. The correction factors used, which link the load-bearing capacity determined through computational analysis with that obtained from measurements, were derived using a carefully selected methodology. This approach provides a quick and comprehensive insight into the suitability of the adhesive and joint geometry under different conditions. We found that the derived correction factors allow for stress prediction in the early stages of development, contributing to the creation of more reliable and durable products. A different method is needed to predict joint deformation.

Keywords:adhesive joint, adhesive bonding, simulation of adhesive, joints, testing of adhesive joints, load capacity of adhesive joints, correction factors.
