Abstract
Ta magistrska naloga obravnava razumevanje povezave med Helmholtzovim resonatorjem in nestabilnim delovanjem turbinskega stroja. Cilj naloge je raziskati to nestabilnost in proučiti povezavo med akustičnimi lastnostmi sistema, v katerega je turbinski stroj vgrajen, in frekvenco oscilacij pri njegovem nestabilnem delovanju. V teoretičnem delu smo podrobno analizirali Helmholtzov resonator, turbinske stroje in njihovo povezavo. Eksperimentalni del je sestavljen iz empiričnih preračunov v kombinaciji z numeričnimi simulacijami. S pomočjo dobljenih preračunov smo spreminjali geometrijo Helmholtzovega resonatorja tako, da je bila upornost sistema vedno konstantna. Za potrditev hipoteze smo izvedli meritve v laboratoriju, na podlagi prej dobljenih izračunov. Tako smo ugotavljali vpliv akustičnih lastnosti sistema na frekvenco oscilacij sesalne enote. Ugotovili smo, da akustične lastnosti sistema delno vplivajo na frekvenco oscilacij sesalne enote.

Title:Generation of infrasound as a result of unstable operation of turbine machines
Abstract:
This Master's thesis is concerned with understanding the link between the Helmholtz resonator and the unstable operation of a turbomachine. The aim of the thesis is to investigate this instability and to study the relationship between the acoustic properties of the system in which the turbomachine is embedded and the frequency of oscillations in its unstable operation. In the theoretical part, the Helmholtz resonator, the turbomachines and their connection are analysed in detail. The experimental part consists of empirical calculations combined with numerical simulations. The resulting calculations were used to vary the geometry of the Helmholtz resonator so that the resistance of the system was always constant. To validate the hypothesis, measurements were carried out in the laboratory, based on the previously obtained calculations. The influence of the acoustic properties of the system on the frequency of oscillations of the intake unit was thus determined. We found that the acoustic properties of the system have a partial influence on the frequency of the suction unit oscillations.
