Abstract
Diplomsko delo je razdeljeno na tri dele. Prvi del je uvod, ki sem ga snovala skozi tok nezavednega pisanja, globje osebne izkušnje, na podlagi katere sem strukturirala celotno diplomsko nalogo. V drugem delu skozi mit o nebu in zemlji povzamem princip dvojnosti.

Title:The importance of embodiment within the creative process
Abstract:
The thesis is divided into three parts. The first part is an introduction that I created through the flow of unconscious writing, a deeper personal experience, on the basis of which I structured the entire thesis. In second part I summarize the principle of duality through the myth of heaven and earth. How is their separation reflected in a person? Through a summary of alchemical knowledge, I present a skill that has served Western man for centuries as a way of uniting opposites within himself. I conclude the second part with how alchemical knowledge inspired C.G. Jung in justifying his famous process of individuation. In the third part, which is more subjective, I share my thoughts on art. How do we unconsciously act in relation to the artist? Why are we artists experiencing an artistic crisis? How important is the intertwining of the material and immaterial world? What meaning does colour have for me? and What attitude do I have towards the painting process?
