Abstract
V nadaljevanju je opis programskega dela, programske zahteve naročnika, opis nekaterih zaslonov HMI vmesnika, povezava z MES sistemom in celoten robotski del.

Title:Automated robotic system for riveting metal parts
Abstract:
The master's thesis presents the development of the automated riveting machine and all the problems we encountered during the planning and startup process. The machine is made according to the requirements that were set by the customer and agreements during the planning process. Main goals that we had to achieve were to make a machine that works with as little rejects as possible and the requested cycle time. The first part describes the problems we were faced with, the choice and the reasons for component selection, layout optimization and an individual internal safety study. I encountered the whole practical part of the safety study for the first time and worked according to the instructions that were given to me by a colleague. After the study the thesis includes the whole programming part, which includes the program requirements set by the customer, description of some of the screen on the HMI, connection of the machine with the customers MES and the entire robotic part. The robotic part also includes the entire computer vision system and the tools that were used for part detection and a quick comparison of different tools and the problems we faced while using them. Because not everything went according to initial expectations we were also faced with optimization of the whole process, for which Six Sigma method was used and is described in the work. From the data we received after the machine was already operational we could also validate the operation of the machine and calculate the OEE.
