Abstract
Z diplomskim delom z naslovom Materialna in energijska bilanca komorne ogrevne peči 33 za ogrevanje ingotov je bil namen ugotoviti kako pripraviti model materialne bilance, ki vsebuje količine in vrste uporabljenih materialov in model energijske bilance, s katerim so razloženi procesi uporabe energije za ogrevanje peči ter ingotov, procesi izgube energije hkrati pa same učinkovitosti ogrevalnega sistema. Zanimala nas je tudi uporaba različnih analiz procesa ogrevanja ingotov, s katerimi smo lahko kazali enostavno berljive opise poteka ogrevanja ingotov v komorni ogrevni peči, vpogled v parametre procesa in njihov vpliv na materialno in energijsko bilanco ter ocenjevanje učinkovitosti ogrevalnega sistema in morebitne možnosti za izboljšanje Za vhodni material smo uporabili ingota. Ingota sta bila založena v peč, kjer smo ju segreli na zastavljeno temperaturo. Vsaki kos smo segrevali po temperaturnem programu, kjer je trajal tako dolgo, da smo dosegli proces homogenizacije mikrostrukture. Eksperimentalno delo sta sestavljali materialna in energijska bilanca peči za ogrevanje dveh 42TN ingotov kvalitete SIMOLD S133.

Title:Material and energy balance of a chamber heating furnace for heating ingots
Abstract:
The aim of the thesis entitled Material and energy balance of a chamber heating furnace 33 for heating ingots was to find out how to develop a material balance model containing the quantities and types of materials used and an energy balance model explaining the processes of energy use for heating the furnace and the ingots, the processes of energy loss, and the efficiency of the heating system itself. We were also interested in the use of analyses of the ingot heating process to show easy-to-read descriptions of the ingot heating process in the chamber heating furnace, to gain insight into the process parameters and their impact on the material and energy balance, and to assess the efficiency of the heating system and opportunities for improvement. Different ingots were used as input material. The ingots were fed into the furnace where they were heated to a set temperature. Each piece was heated according to a temperature programme, where it lasted long enough to achieve a homogenisation process of the microstructure.
