Abstract
V sklopu diplomskega dela smo razvili spletno aplikacijo za SŽ-Tovorni promet, ki omogoča vizualen pregled premikanja tovornih vlakov po postajah na njihovi poti. Stranke lahko spremljajo gibanja vlakov z njihovimi pošiljkami, zaposleni pa gibanje vseh vlakov. Prikazane podatke lahko uporabniki prilagodijo z iskanjem in filtriranjem glede na različne parametre. Pri razvoju smo uporabili tenologije React, Node.js, Express.js, Leaflet in OpenStreetMap. Rezultat našega dela je sodobna in uporabniku prijazna aplikacija, ki bistveno izboljšuje transparentnost in učinkovitost sledenja tovornih pošiljk ter optimizira delovne procese v podjetju. Naša rešitev omogoča hitrejše in bolj informirane odločitve, kar povečuje splošno kakovost storitev podjetja SŽ-Tovorni promet.

Title:Web application for visual monitoring of trains in freight traffic
Abstract:
In our thesis, we developed a web application for SŽ-Tovorni promet, which provides a visual overview of the movement of freight trains through stations along their routes. Customers can only follow the movement of trains carrying their shipments, while employees can monitor the movement of all trains. Users can customize the displayed data through search and filter options based on various parameters. The technologies we used in development are React, Node.js, Express.js, Leaflet and OpenStreetMap. The result of our work is a modern and user-friendly application that significantly improves the transparency and efficiency of tracking freight shipments and optimizes work processes within the company. Our solution enables faster and more informed decisions, enhancing the overall quality of services provided by SŽ-Tovorni promet.
