Abstract
Preobilica dela, pomanjkanje, kadra, vedno zahtevnejši pacienti in nizka plača. Naredili smo narativni pregled literature. Pregledali smo literaturo v podatkovnih bazah DiKul, Pubmed, Google učenjak in CHINAL. Rezultati: Rezultati našega pregleda literature so pokazali, da so različne tehnike meditacije zmanjšale izgorelost pri medicinskih sestrah. Razprava in zaključek: Medicinske sestre se srečujejo z težkimi pogoji dela, kadrovsko stisko, nizko plačo in nizko podporo nadrejenih, kar vodi v izgorelost.

Title:Using meditation techniques to prevent burnout among nurses : diploma work
Abstract:
Introduction: Nurses face stressor each and every day both at work and in private life. Too much work, lack of staff, patients, that are harder to treat and low wages can lead to burning out. Purpose: The goal of meditation techniques is changing and regulating attention. Meditation enables purposeful experiencing of emotions and focuses on what is healthy. A session that focuses on meditation for individual can be helpful in improving general mental health. Methods: In this diploma work we studied the use of meditation techniques to prevent burning out among nurses. Results: In this diploma work we used a descriptive method with literature review. A literature search was conducted between months of march 2024 and june 2024. In the final analysis, 5 of those sources were chosen. We have done a narrative literature review and checked the literature at the next databases: DiKuL, Pubmed, Google scholar and CHINAL. The results of our literature check had shown, that different meditation techniques lowered the rate of burning out among nurses. Discussion and conclusion: Nurses face hard working conditions, lack of trained staff, low wages and low support from higher ups, which all lead to burning out. Burning doesn't only affect a single person, but also the organisation in which that person is working at, because we face absenteeism and presenteeism, which all affects the quality of nursing. Based on our findings and current research, meditation techniques are an effective method of preventing burning out among nurses.
