Analiza uporabniškega vmesnika in uporabniške izkušnje spletne učilnice Moodle Univerze v Ljubljani

Namen diplomske naloge je s pomočjo fokusnih skupin in raziskav uporabniške izkušnje analizirati in ovrednotiti uporabniški vmesnik spletne učilnice Moodle. V teoretičnem delu smo predstavili pojem uporabniška izkušnja (angl. user experience). Obravnavali smo njene ključne lastnosti in pomen za končnega uporabnika. Nato smo se osredotočili na metodologijo oblikovalskega mišljenja (angl. design thinking), kjer smo podrobno opisali korake in tehnike, ki se uporabljajo pri ustvarjanju inovativnih in uporabniško usmerjenih rešitev. Poudarili smo tudi različne načine vrednotenja, ki omogočajo oceno uporabnosti in uspešnosti teh rešitev. Za konec smo predstavili WCAG smernice za zagotavljanje dostopnosti, ki so ključnega pomena za ustvarjanje vključujočih in dostopnih digitalnih produktov za vse uporabnike, ne glede na njihove zmožnosti. V eksperimentalnem delu smo vodili fokusne skupine in na podlagi ugotovitev ovrednotili uporabniško izkušnjo obstoječe spletne učilnice Moodle Univerze v Ljubljani. Oblikovali smo predloge možnih rešitev oziroma izboljšav glede na potrebe univerze in dveh ciljnih skupin – študentje in profesorji Univerze v Ljubljani. Pri oblikovanju rešitev smo uporabili program Figma. Pazili smo tudi na spletno dostopnost. Primerno zasnovan vmesnik je eden ključnih elementov vsakega spletnega mesta, saj pripomore k hitrejšemu iskanju informacij in pozitivni izkušnji uporabnikov.

• Title: Analysis of user interface and user experience of University of Ljubljana’'s online classroom Moodle

Abstract

The purpose of the thesis is to analyse and evaluate the user interface of the Moodle online classroom using focus groups and UX research. In the theoretical part, we presented the concept of user experience, discussing its key characteristics and its importance for the end user. We then focused on the methodology of design thinking, detailing the steps and techniques used to create innovative and user-centred solutions. We also highlighted the different evaluation methods that allow assessing the usability and success of these solutions. Finally, we presented the WCAG accessibility guidelines, which are key to creating inclusive and accessible digital products for all users, regardless of their abilities. In the experimental part, we conducted focus groups and evaluated the user experience of the existing Moodle online classroom at the University of Ljubljana based on the findings. We formulated proposals for possible solutions or improvements according to the needs of the university and two target groups - students and teachers at the University of Ljubljana. Figma was used to design the solutions. We also paid attention to web accessibility. A properly designed interface is one of the key elements of any website, as it helps users find information faster and provides them with a positive experience.
