Abstract
Začetek diplomskega dela sestavljata pregled trga obstoječih komponent in predstavitev lastnosti vode. V zadnjem delu diplomskega dela smo v ta namen prikazali še rešitev problema in izvedli preizkuse z novo izvedbo. Preizkusi so pokazali pravilno delovanje ventila.

Title:Redesign of double-stage water hydraulic pressure relief valve
Abstract:
The following thesis presents the development of a two-stage safety valve for water used for flows of up to 50 l/min and pressures of up to 400 bar. Presented in the beginning of the thesis is an overview of the existing components on the market as well as a presentation of the properties of water. The development, construction and production of the valve are shown next. Then follows the numerical analysis of the valve using the finite element method. Finally, the valve in question is being tested. The result of the thesis is a functioning valve for the range of all pressures and flows, which exhibits low leakage and good response to pressure fluctuations. During testing, we came to the conclusion that the valve does not close well enough. This is why, in the last part of the thesis, we presented a solution to the problem and conducted tests with a new implementation. Tests have shown that the valve is functioning properly.
