Abstract
V eksperimentalnem delu so predstavljeni glavni elementi, ki so inspirirali celotno kolekcijo. Predstavljeni so oblikovalski proces ter izdelava vzorcev, postopki in materiali. Vzorci so predstavljeni v obliki digitalnega zaslona (angl. Look book) in v obliki fizičnih tapet, nalepljenih na forex ploščah.

Title:Animal motifs in decorative textile pattern design
Abstract:
The thesis explores the use of animal motifs, specifically the dung beetle, in designing decorative textile patterns for wallpaper. The design process was inspired by the paintings of Vladimir Leben and scientific illustrations from historical textbooks, leading to the development of a unique collection of textile patterns. The theoretical part presents the history of wallpaper, including its development and contemporary trends. Special attention is given to children's wallpaper and its impact on the atmosphere in children's interiors. The experimental part presents the main elements that inspired the entire collection. The design process and pattern creation, procedures, and materials are presented. The color palette was based on the chromatics of Leben's paintings and historical scientific illustrations. The latter also greatly influenced the mood and aesthetics of the final collection. The patterns are prepared for repetition and further reprinting, enabling their practical use in the future. The collection of patterns is suitable for a wide range of users, with special attention to children's wallpaper. The patterns are presented in the form of a digital display (Look book) and on samples of physical wallpaper, applied on forex boards.
