Abstract
V diplomskem delu smo obravnavali razvoj lahkega hidravličnega valja in se osredotočili na optimizacijo teže in zmogljivosti. S pomočjo programske opreme SolidWorks smo izdelali 3D modele posameznih komponent. Nato smo izvedli trdnostne analize z metodo končnih elementov (MKE). Z njimi smo identificirali kritične točke konstrukcije ter na podlagi rezultatov analiz optimizirali zasnovo, da bi zagotovili zadostno trdnost ob hkratnem zmanjšanju teže. Zasnovali smo trajnostni test, kjer bo mogoče v prihodnosti preveriti skladnost dejanskih zmogljivosti s simulacijami in oceniti zanesljivost delovanja v realnih pogojih.

Title:Development of a lightweight hydraulic cylinder
Abstract:
In the thesis, we focused on the development of a lightweight hydraulic cylinder, with an emphasis on optimizing weight and performance. Using SolidWorks software, we created 3D models of individual components and then conducted strength analyses using the finite element method (FEM). These analyses helped us identify critical points in the structure, and based on the results, we optimized the design to ensure sufficient strength while reducing weight. We also designed a durability test that will allow us to verify the actual performance against simulations in the future and assess the reliability of the cylinder under real-world conditions.
