Discord is a platform for group communication where applications can be used to extend the servers functionality. With the growing number of users, the administration of the servers is becoming more complex. In this thesis, we developed an application to extend the functionality of Discord platform, which solves the administration challenges by automatic event management and statistical data analysis. It also improves the user experience with a music player, a code compiler and a web interface that integrates the added functionalities into a complete system. The application has reduced the need for manual event management and improved insight into server activity by displaying statistics on the web interface. The thesis shows how applications can significantly ease administration and improve the user experience on Discord servers.
