People with disabilities are still among the minorities that are often forgotten, even though they are not that few. Like everyone else, they also like to spend their free time as productively and in a fun way as possible, and maybe even learn something in the process. With this master's thesis, I wanted to contribute to addressing a topic that is self-evident for many. People take their free time for granted, and we don't even realize or think about the fact that we might not be able to participate in certain activities due to our incompatibility. In my opinion, maladjustment can also be seen in the area of insufficient education of the activity providers themselves. Nevertheless, this remains a topic about which not much has been written, but also a topic that people could talk about a lot, because leisure activities actually allow us to disconnect from the world, to regenerate and to get out of the monotony of everyday life. As I was able to find out during the implementation of my master's thesis, people with disabilities in the municipality of Ptuj are largely satisfied with the possibility of spending their free time, but a lot still needs to be done in this area. I was also able to notice that the spectrum of leisure activities is quite large, but still people with disabilities are not included in all the activities that actually belong to them and that many people take for granted. I want the master's thesis to serve both people with a disability, to give their voice, to express their opinion, and perhaps through reading the master's thesis to get some sort of idea of how they would like to spend their free time. On the other hand, I want the research to serve the municipality of Ptuj as well as the providers of leisure activities, to gain insight into this topic, to become aware of it, and to get some guidelines and ideas on how these problems could be solved or prevented in the future.
