Abstract
V diplomskem delu smo se osredotočili na razvoj prototipa mobilne aplikacije za pohodništvo. Celoten postopek smo zasnovali z namenom izboljšanja uporabniške izkušnje. Primarni cilj raziskave je bil identificirati ključne pomanjkljivosti v obstoječih aplikacijah in na podlagi pridobljenih ugotovitev razviti prototip, ki bi končnim uporabnikom nudil izboljšano intuitivnost, dostopnost in vizualno privlačnost vmesnika. Načrtovanje in izdelava prototipa aplikacije sta potekala na podlagi teoretičnega uvoda, ki zajema področje mobilnih aplikacij, oblikovanje uporabniške izkušnje in metod, ki so uporabne pri oblikovanju in načrtovanju takšnih sistemov, izdelavo prototipa in predstavitev ključnih vsebin in elementov pohodniške aplikacije. Eksperimentalni del zajema tako analizo obstoječih produktov kot anketiranje, s pomočjo katerega smo določili ciljne skupine ter izbrali relevantne vsebinske kategorije in funkcionalnosti, primerne za pohodniško aplikacijo, ki so nam bile v pomoč za definiranje informacijske arhitekture. Z uporabo orodja Figma smo izdelali žične okvirje, ki so omogočili vizualizacijo in prvo različico prototipa aplikacije. Končni prototip je bil oblikovan z izbiro oblikovnih elementov, kot so barvna paleta, ikone in tipografija. Uporabniška izkušnja prototipa je bila ovrednotena z uporabo standardiziranega vprašalnika UEQ, katerega rezultati so potrdili, da je bil prototip uspešno zasnovan, saj uporabnikom omogoča preprosto, intuitivno in estetsko dovršeno interakcijo. Rezultat diplomskega dela je prototip pohodniške aplikacije, ki ne le izpolnjuje tehnične in funkcionalne zahteve, ampak zagotavlja tudi pozitivno uporabniško izkušnjo, ki uporabnikom omogoča, da svoje pohodniške izlete načrtujejo učinkoviteje, udobneje in vizualno privlačneje.

Title:Interface proposal for enhanced user experience of mobile hiking application
Abstract:
In our thesis, we focused on developing a prototype mobile application for hiking, with the entire process based on design to enhance user experience. The primary objective of the research was to identify critical shortcomings in existing applications and based on the findings, develop a prototype that would offer end users improved intuitiveness, accessibility, and visual appeal of the interface. The planning and creation of the prototype were based on a theoretical introduction that covers the field of mobile applications, user experience design, methods helpful in designing and planning such systems, the making of the prototype, and the presentation of crucial contents and elements of the hiking application. The experimental part involved analyzing existing products, conducting surveys to determine target groups, and selecting relevant content categories and functionalities suitable for the hiking application, which helped define the information architecture. Using the tool Figma, we created wireframes that enabled the visualization and the first version of the prototype. The final prototype was designed by choosing design elements such as a colour palette, icons, and typography. The user experience of the prototype was evaluated using the standardized UEQ questionnaire, whose results confirmed that the prototype was successfully designed as it provides users with a simple, intuitive, and aesthetically polished interaction. The result of this thesis is a hiking application prototype that not only meets technical and functional requirements but also provides an exceptional user experience, allowing users to plan their hiking trips more effectively, comfortably, and attractively.
