My diploma thesis deals with the time and effects of wood extraction with a cable crane Syncrofalke. Diploma paper consists of two parts, namely of an analysis of calendar time for period of two years, and an execution of time studies. Due to comparison of actual effects with the national norms of cable crane Syncrofalke, only days when the cable crane was operating are taken into consideration; and within these days productive and unproductive time, assemblies and effects are regarded. Based on measurements it was discovered that productive time of skidding wood depends upon pulling distance, weight of each load and the number of items produced from each load. The results show, that effects mostly depend upon the distance of skidding, while the largest share within the procedure of wood extraction is ascribed to the united operation of skidding. Volume and weight of each load and average load was calculated as well. The structure of productive and unproductive time for skidding and the factor of unproductive time, which serve as basis for showing daily effects, were analysed. Findings indicate, that factor of unproductive time is considerably high, with organizational delays as the maincause. Comparison with determined norms showed that in certain cases they are within reach, while elsewhere overestimated.
