Abstract
Veliko industrijskih procesov vključuje premike, manipulacijo in aplikacijo sile na predmete. Eden od možnih načinov za izvajanje teh nalog je implementacija pnevmatike. To je področje, ki se ukvarja z raziskovanjem in uporabo komprimiranega zraka za izvajanje mehanskega gibanja. Pnevmatični sistemi so ključni elementi v industrijskih aplikacijah, kot so avtomatizacija, proizvodnja in robotika, vendar je učinkovito izobraževanje na tem področju pogosto omejeno zaradi kompleksnosti sistemov in pomanjkanja dostopne opreme. V tej diplomski nalogi sta predstavljena razvoj nove pnevmatične didaktične table in njena izdelava. Glavni del preizkuševališča je pnevmatični valj, ki stiska vzmeti, ki služijo kot breme. Tablo smo po izdelavi eksperimentalno preizkusili tako, da smo postavili tri različne pnevmatične vezave in na njih opravili meritve. V prvi postavitvi smo opazovali učinek hitro izpustnega ventila. Pri drugi postavitvi smo merili učinke dušilno protipovratnih ventilov in kako njihova orientacija vpliva na gibanje dvosmernega pnevmatičnega valja. V tretji postavitvi pa smo za proženje giba vkomponirali dvoročni vklop in merili, kaj se zgodi, če poleg dušilno protipovratnega ventila povežemo še hitro izpustni ventil.

Title:Development of a pneumatic didactic board
Abstract:
Many industrial processes involve moving, manipulating and applying force to objects. One possible way to perform these tasks is to implement pneumatics. This is a field that deals with the research and use of compressed air to perform mechanical motion. Pneumatic systems are key elements in industrial applications such as automation, manufacturing and robotics, but effective training in this field is often limited by the complexity of the systems and the lack of available equipment. This thesis presents the development of a new pneumatic didactic board and its manufacture. The main part of the testbed is a pneumatic cylinder which compresses springs that serve as a load. After the board was built, it was experimentally tested by setting up three different pneumatic set-ups and taking measurements on them. In the first set-up, we observed the effect of a fast exhaust valve. In the second set-up we measured the effects of the throttle check valves and how their orientation affects the motion of the bi-directional pneumatic cylinder. In the third set-up, we incorporated a two-handed actuation to trigger the motion and measured what happens if we connect a quick exhaust valve in addition to the throttle check valve.
