Abstract
Diplomsko delo prikazuje postopek avtomatizacije hidravlične stiskalnice za vulkanizacijo gume z uporabo PLK-ja Siemens Logo. Cilj in namen dela je prikazati postopek predelave stiskalnice ter zagotoviti bolj zanesljivo delovanje, učinkovitost in fleksibilnost. V uvodnem delu je predstavljena stiskalnica in režimi v katerih mora delovati, predstavljena je tudi programska in strojna oprema, ki zamenja relejski krmilni sistem. Osrednji del naloge se nanaša na vezalno shemo elementov v kontrolni omari in na razvoj programa ter vmesnika. Opisan je tudi postopek prenosa programa na PLK. Zaključni del pa se nanaša na spremembo parametrov na regulatorju Gefran 400. Rezultati diplomskega dela nam pokažejo, da je avtomatizacija hidravlične stiskalnice povečala njeno produktivnost, robustnost in fleksibilnost, kar je bil tudi namen diplomskega dela.

Title:Automation of a hydraulic press for rubber vulcanization
Abstract:
The thesis shows the process of automation of a hydraulic press for rubber vulcanization with the use of Siemens Logo PLC. The goal and purpose of the thesis is to show how the press was reworked and to ensure better performance, efficiency and flexibility. The introductory part presents the press and the modes it has to operate in, it also presents the software and the hardware that replaces the relay control system. The main part presents the wiring diagram of the elements inside the control panel and the development of the program code and the interface. It also describes the transfer of the program code to the PLC. The concluding part presents the change of parameters on the Gefran 400 regulator. The results of the thesis show that automatization of the hydraulic press increased its productivity, robustness and flexibility which was the purpose of the thesis.
