Abstract
V zaključnem delu je predstavljena optimizacija poti mrtvega hoda orodja pri procesu vrtanja med mehansko obdelavo aluminijastih ulitkov. Idealna, analitično določena pot orodja med prehodom z ene izvrtine na naslednjo je bila aproksimirana z ustrezno obliko krivulje v G kodi (A, B, C spline in poly). Teoretični del zajema razlago analitično določene idealne poti mrtvega hoda in predstavitev tipov aproksimacijskih in interpolacijskih krivulj. Empirični del naloge podrobneje prikazuje aproksimacijo in interpolacijo določene idealne poti orodja v programskem okolju Python. Predstavljen je tudi razvit NC program idealne poti mrtvega hoda orodja pri vrtanju, ki je bil preizkušen na CNC stroju. Časi mrtvih hodov orodja med procesom vrtanja so se skrajšali za okoli 10 procentov.

Title:
Optimization of air-cutting time in drilling process
Abstract:
In thesis the optimization of air-cutting time in drilling process of aluminium castings is presented. The ideal, analytically determined tool path for transitioning from one hole to the next was approximated with an appropriate curve shape in G-code (A, B, C spline, and polynomial). The theoretical part includes an explanation of the analytically determined ideal path and an introduction to the types of approximation and interpolation curves. The empirical part of the task details the approximation and interpolation of the determined ideal tool path in the Python programming environment. The developed NC program for the ideal path of the tool during drilling process is also presented and was tested on a CNC machine. The air-cutting time of the tool during the drilling process was reduced by around 10 percent.
