Abstract
Varnost in obramba države sta ključna elementa za zagotavljanje miru in stabilnosti, še zlasti v času povečanih geopolitičnih napetosti in nestabilnosti. Z nadaljnjim razvojem in krepitvijo svojih zmogljivosti bo Slovenija lahko še naprej igrala pomembno vlogo v mednarodni skupnosti in prispevala k reševanju globalnih varnostnih izzivov.

Title:Development of the concept of host country support and landing in war zones (case study of Slovenia)
Abstract:
National security and defence are key elements for ensuring peace and stability, especially in times of heightened geopolitical tensions and instability. The aim of the thesis was to examine the history of the use of airspace in Slovenia for military purposes from the beginning of World War I to the present day and to describe the military history and aspect of flying and landing on Slovenian territory. Slovenia has proven that it is capable of operating successfully as a host country and contributing to international peace and security. By further developing and strengthening its capabilities, Slovenia will be able to continue to play an important role in the international community and contribute to solving global security challenges. The descriptive method and the analysis and interpretation of sources were used.
