Abstract
V diplomski nalogi je bil obravnavan used kovin v mahovih na območju Slovenije. Mahove vrst Hypnum cupressiforme in Pleurozium schreberi so bili nabrani v gozdnem prostoru na vzorčni mreži 16 km x 16 km in 16 km x 8 km. Za določitev vsebnosti kovin je bila uporabljena masna spektrometrija z induktivno sklopljeno plazmo. Ugotavljena je bila razlika v koncentracijah izmerjenih v mahovih nabranih pod zastorom dreves in tistimi nabranimi v vrzeli. Ugotovljeno je bilo, da se koncentracije močno razlikujejo in so pri večini elementov manjše v vzorcih mahov nabranih na prostem. To je najverjetneje posledica prestrezanja krošenj, ki s svojo listno površino prestrežejo več zračnih onesnažil. V nalogi so bile tudi primerjane koncentracije kovin na izbranih lokacijah med dvema vzorčenjema leta 2006 in 2010. Ugotovljeno je bilo znatno zmanjšanje koncentracij med letoma pri vseh preučevanih elementih.

Abstract:
In this thesis the deposition of metals in mosses in the region of Slovenia wasanalysed. The mosses Hypnum cupressiforme and Pleurozium schreberi were collected in a forest environment on a grid 16 km x 16 km and 16 km x 8 km. For the determination of metal concentrations the inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry was used. The concentrations determined in the field sampling in years 2006 and 2010 were compared. There is a significant decreasein metal concentrations for all elements analysed in this period. The difference between metal concentrations measured in mosses collected under thecrowns of trees and those collected in clearings was also determined. Analyses showed that concentrations varied significantly and were mostly lowerin mosses collected in clearings. This is probably the result of the difference in precipitation distribution caused by the tree crowns due to higher interception of air pollutants by foliage of the tree crowns.
