Abstract
Na kakovost sledenja omenjene funkcije vplivajo: čas vzorčenja, navpična občutljivost, začetek zajemanja referenčnih podatkov, število zajetih referenčnih podatkov, hitrost varjenja in jakost varilnega toka. Raziskovali smo vpliv posameznih parametrov in njihove kombinacije za čimbolj ustrezno sledenje gorilnika. Z analiziranjem rezultatov posameznih eksperimentov smo prišli do optimalnih parametrov, ki zagotavljajo ustrezno sledenje funkcije AVC.

Title:Vertical seam tracking in robotic TIG welding
Abstract:
The function of controlling the distance between the torch and the workpiece (Automatic Voltage Control – AVC) adjusts the height based on arc voltage. This type of control is used in automated and robotic TIG and MIG/MAG welding, as the geometry of the weld joint constantly changes. In this thesis, we address the vertical tracking of the AVC function in robotic TIG welding on a workpiece made of structural steel S355. We studied the parameters that influence the vertical tracking of the AVC function. The quality of tracking is affected by sampling timing, vertical compensation gain, vertical master sampling start, vertical master sampling count, welding speed, and welding current intensity. We investigated the impact of individual parameters and their combinations to achieve the most appropriate seam tracking. By analyzing the results from the experiments, we determined the optimal parameters of the AVC function that ensure proper seam tracking.
