Abstract
Največji delež predstavljajo ostrolistni javor (Acer platanoides L.) z 21,7 % in vrba (Salix sp.) z 12,3 %, sledijo pa srebrni javor (Acer saccharinum L.) z8,5 %, navadna smreka (Picaea abies L. Karst.) s 6,1 % in navadna breza (Betula pendula Roth) s 5 %. Ostale vrste so zastopane z manj kot petimi odstotki. Najmanj so poškodovani iglavci.

Abstract:
In this University degree thesis there is a list of trees growing in public surfaces in Vič, Ljubljana, an estimation of the condition the trees are in, a foundation of treesć inventory and a treesć register presented. There were 3452 trees registered and classified into 47 families and into 72 different species. The biggest share represent the following species: Norway maple (Acerplatanoides L.) with 21,7 % and Willow (Salix sp.) with 12,3 %, followed by Silver maple (Acer saccharinum L.) with 8,5 %, Norway spruce (Picaea abies L. Karst.) with 6,1 % and Silver Birch (Betula pendula Roth) with 5 %. The remaining species are represented by less than 5 %. Damage is the biggest in the crown namely in 61,6 % of the cases. Rootstock is damaged in 20,1 % of the cases while roots are damaged in 7,4 % of the cases. On basis of the register we determined that there are almost 22 % undamaged trees. There are 1409 topped trees what represents 40,8 % of all trees. The least damaged are coniferous trees. On basis of the comparison with a similar register based in 1996 we established that there have been changes regarding the number of the trees, structure of the species and damage of the trees what it is partially consequence of wild growing trees on the unregulated area of analysed surface.
