Abstract
Diplomska naloga obravnava delno avtomatizacijo proizvodnega procesa za izdelavo podsklopov, z namenom izboljšanja učinkovitosti in zmanjšanja stroškov. Raziskava vključuje popis obstoječega procesa, pridobivanje informacij, razvoj koncepta, preračune komponent, umestitev sistema na varilno šablono ter elektro vezavo in krmiljenje sistema preko PLC-krmilnika. Ključne ugotovitve raziskave so pokazale, da implementacija modela zadostuje potrebam avtomatizacije brez večjih naložb. Pravilna integracija omogoča dosego želenega nivoja delne avtomatizacije, kar vodi do zmanjšanja finančnih stroškov in povečanja proizvodne učinkovitosti.

Title:Development of a concept for automating assembly and clamping of sheet metal for welding process
Abstract:
The thesis addresses the partial automation of the production process for assembling subassemblies, aiming to improve efficiency and reduce costs. The research includes mapping the current process, gathering information, developing a concept, calculating components, positioning the system on a welding template, and wiring and controlling the system via a PLC controller. Key findings indicate that the model's implementation meets automation needs without significant investments. Proper integration enables the desired level of partial automation, leading to reduced financial costs and increased production efficiency.
