Abstract

Title:Introduction of CE marking on new packing machine
Abstract:
A key step in ensuring machine safety is risk assessment. This is a systematic process of analyzing, identifying, and determining the level of risk associated with the use of the machine, with the aim of reducing these risks. The safety and compliance requirements for machines are defined by the European Union with Directive 2006/42/EC and the international standard for achieving safety in machine design, EN ISO 12100:2011. The principles of these requirements are based on knowledge and experience regarding the design, use, incidents, and risks associated with machines. In the first part of the thesis, the theoretical bases of Directive 2006/42/EC, the CE mark and the EN ISO 12100:2011 standard are presented, which are the most important in machine risk assessment. The operation and management of the machine is presented and described, with which we have identified and analyzed the potential dangers that can occur during the use of this machine. This is followed by a description and implementation of the risk assessment process, followed by a discussion of the results and ideas for reducing potential hazards or risks.
