Abstract
Moj cilj je bil sintetizirati transparentno plast z dobrimi fotokatalitskimi lastnostmi in čim boljšo hidrofilnostjo. Plast sem nanesla na steklo, silicijeve ploščice in plastiko. Kvaliteto nanesenih plasti sem preverila z merjenjem kontaktnega kota za vodno kapljico, s snemanjem površine z vrstičnim elektronskim mikroskopom in snemanjem IR spektra. Ugotovila sem, da so lastnosti plasti odvisne od tehnike nanosa in materiala, na katerega plast nanesemo.

Title:Synthesis and characterization of transparent self-cleaning thin films
Abstract:
Titanium dioxide is a versatile material with wide-ranging applications in industry and everyday life. Its use in transparent self-cleaning thin films is particularly intriguing. My work focuses on synthesizing, depositing, and characterizing transparent self-cleaning thin films. My goal was to create a transparent film with optimal photocatalytic properties and high hydrophilicity. I deposited the film on glass, silicon and plastic. I evaluated the quality of the deposited films by measuring the water contact angle, imaging the surface using scanning electron microscope and recording the IR spectrum. In my work, I have found that the properties of thin films are dependent on the deposition technique and the material on which the film is deposited.
