The thesis deals with the control and optimization of the sliding bearings of the intermediate drive shaft of the eccentric press ILR MPDK 300 in the company Unior d.d. The aim of the task was to extend the service life of the bearings without major changes to the machine. First, we analyzed the current state of the geometry and the lubrication of the bushings, we carried out a calculation control and introduced changes. We then compared the results in a table and predicted the financial consequences of the modifications. We found that a higher consumption of lubricant with the aim of reducing the wear of the bearings was not profitable for us in the long run, as the increased cost of the lubricant did not justify more frequent replacements of bushings.
