Abstract
V diplomski nalogi so s pomočjo ankete želeli pridobili mnenje lastnikov gozdov o skupni rabi strojev.

Abstract:
In order to establish effective forest economy in a crumbled forest estate it is suitable to stimulate collaboration among private forest owners. The aim ofthe thesis was to determine the opinions of forest owners about collective machine usage with the help of a questionnaire. The main question was to find out the level of activity among the residents of Strojna, Zelen breg and Suhi vrh concerning different forms of forest owners' mutual cooperation. The area of Strojna was chosen because the forest owners there already participate in machine usage and joined in a machinery group. Neighbouring villages were included in order to find any differences between the forest owners who cooperate in machine usage and those who do not. The questions were divided into four clusters and the poll was conducted in the form of interviews on thefarms in question. It was established that the size of the properties and the social-economic status do not interfere with the owners' willingness to cooperate in collective machine usage. It is also not statistically significant that the owner who cooperates in machine usage does more work in the forest on his own along with his family members. The owners interviewed are well acquainted with the forms of collaboration among the forest owners inthis area since 50 % of them are active in the co-operative, 44 % are activein the machinery group and 30 % of them are active in the study club. A good half of them do not wish to become members of the Forest Owner Association or the machinery group and a third of them would not want to be a member of the machine hire syndicate, co-operative or the study club. Lack of information about various forms of collaboration and the advantages of membership are the reasons behind the owners' poor willingness for cooperation. The field foresters and the agricultural forest service should bethe source of information on the advantages of mutual collaboration for forest owners. The results show that the field foresters do not stimulate cooperation among the forest owners and that the owners interviewed are not satisfied with the operation of the agricultural forest service.
