Abstract
Vremenske ujme postajajo v zadnjih desetletjih vedno bolj pogoste, saj se podnebje spreminja. Proučevali smo jih na območju Pivške kotline oz. Postojne skozi spomin ljudi.

Title:Weather disasters in the memory of people in Postojna
Abstract:
Weather disasters have become more frequent in recent decades as the climate changes. We studied them in the area of the Pivka basin or Persistent through people's memory. The Pivka basin lies in the southwestern part of Slovenia and is at the middle of two climates: the hinterland of the moderately Mediterranean and the temperate continental, which is reflected, among other things, in a strong bora and the amount of precipitation averaging 1,500 mm annually. The weather memory of the inhabitants of Postojna is not diverse, as it mostly speaks only of floods and sleet. The residents remember the sleet in 2014, which covered the Pivka basin for about 14 days and covered it in ice armor. The people of Postojna talk about the thickness of the sleet up to 15 centimeters. The empirical part of the thesis consists of two parts: The first part presents the chronology of weather disasters in the study area in recent decades, and the second part the results of a conversation with 30 inhabitants of the Pivka Basin about weather disasters and their consequences.
