Športno stičišče kot povezovalni element revitalizacije degradiranega območja Union v Ljubljani

Diplomska naloga obravnava idejo preobrazbe degradiranega območja pivovarne Union v Ljubljani v živahno urbano središče. Projekt se osredotoča na vzpostavitev povezovalne plasti mesta, ki bo premišljeno sprožila preobrazbo območja. Pomemben vidik projekta je faznost, ki z aktivacijo neizkoriščenih strešnih površin omogoča postopno preobrazbo, kjer sobivajo proizvodne dejavnosti in nove rabe. Na območju pivovarne, ki je zaradi širitve mesta postalo strateško pomembno, projekt stremi k postopni implementaciji javnega interesa v zasebno lastnino, z uvajanjem športnorekreacijskih vsebin, pešpoti in kolesarskih stez.

• Title: Sports Hub as a Connecting Element for the Revitalisation of the Degraded Union Area in Ljubljana

Abstract

The thesis addresses the idea of transforming the degraded area of the Union brewery in Ljubljana into a vibrant urban center. The project focuses on establishing a connecting layer of the city that will thoughtfully initiate the transformation of the area. An important aspect of the project is phasing, which, through the activation of unused rooftop surfaces, enables a gradual transformation where production activities and new uses coexist. In the brewery area, which has become strategically important due to the city's expansion, the project aims for the gradual implementation of public interest into private property by introducing sports and recreational facilities, pedestrian paths, and cycling tracks.
