Abstract
Železniški promet je ključni del prometnega sistema, in kot kaže, bo njegova vloga v prihodnosti vse večja. Železniška tovorna postaja Koper igra zelo pomembno vlogo v slovenskem in mednarodnem železniškem sistemu in našem gospodarstvu, saj omogoča edino povezavo Luke Koper, d. d., z železniškim transportom. Glede na porast števila prevozov po železnici in izgradnji drugega tira med Divačo in Koprom bo tako v prihodnosti prihajalo do krepitve ozkega grla, ki se že danes pojavlja na tovorni postaji v Kopru. Ozko grlo trenutno ne izvira iz kadrovskega pomanjkanja, temveč zaradi iz tehnološkega stanja oziroma nekaterih procesov dela, ko so lahko še kako zamudni in po nepotrebnem upočasnjujejo procese na postaji. Pomemben dejavnik nastajanja ozkega grla je obstoječa infrastruktura na postaji, ki jo bo treba dograditi. S pospešitvijo nekaterih procesov in z nadgradnjo infrastrukture bi bistveno prispevali k odpravljanju ozkega grla na postaji in bi tako povečali tudi učinkovitost dela postaje, sicer bi se s temi nadgradnjami lahko opustile nekatere funkcije v podjetju, na drugi strani pa bi ob porastu dela potrebovali več delavcev, ki svoje delo opravljajo na progi. Z vpeljavo nekaterih ukrepov digitalizacije poslovanja bi pospešili procese in povečali obsega dela.

Title:WORK ANALYSIS OF THE RAILWAY FREIGHT STATION KOPER
Abstract:
Rail transport is a key part of the transport system and it seems that its role will increase in the future. The Koper freight station plays a very important role in the Slovenian and international railway system and in our economy, as it is the only connection of Luka Koper d.d. to rail transport. Given the increase in the number of rail transports and the construction of a second track between Divača and Koper, the existing bottleneck at the freight station in Koper will become even worse in the future. The bottleneck is currently not due to a lack of personnel, but to the state of the art or some work processes that can be time-consuming and unnecessarily slow down the processes at the railway station. An important factor in the creation of the bottleneck is the station's existing infrastructure, which needs to be upgraded. Speeding up some of the processes and modernising the infrastructure would go a long way towards eliminating the bottleneck at the station, thereby increasing the efficiency of work at the station. Otherwise, with these upgrades, some functions in the company could be abandoned, but on the other hand, with an increase in work, more employees would be needed to do their work at the track. By introducing some business digitization measures, this would speed up processes and increase the volume of work
