Abstract
Feromagnetne nanoploščice, suspendirane v terc-butanolu, tvorijo feromagnetni ferofluid. Ob prisotnosti zunanjega magnetnega polja tvorijo različne strukture. V tem delu so predstavljene meritve z večosnim izmeničnim poljem. Pri enoosnem polju se pojavijo črtaste strukture, pri dvoosnem opazimo urejene pikčaste vzorce, dinamične vortekse in statične vijugaste strukture. Oblika, dinamika in stabilnost struktur se spreminja z dimenzijo celice, v kateri je ferofluid, z dodajanjem enosmerne komponente polja in amplitudo ter frekvenco izmeničnega polja.

Title:Effects of multiaxial magnetic fields on a ferromagnetic nanoparticle suspension
Abstract:
Ferromagnetic nanoplates, suspended in tert-butanol, form a ferromagnetic ferrofluid. In the presence of an external magnetic field they form different structures. Presented in this work are measurements of such structures when the nanoplates are exposed to a multiaxial alternating magnetic field. When using a uniaxial field a striped structure appears. In a biaxial field dots, vortices and windings emerge. The shape, dynamics and stability of the structures changes with the dimensions of the container the fluid is in, with additional magnetic field components and the amplitude and frequency of the field.
