Abstract
Trenutna linearna ekonomija pridobivanja materialov, proizvodnje izdelkov in odstranjevanja odpadkov, povzroča nepopravljivo škodo okolju, katere obseg se bo zaradi pritiskov na obnovljive in neobnovljive vire še povečeval. Zaradi okoljske ozaveščenosti so različni proizvajalci začeli v svoje izdelke vključevati trajnostne materiale.

Title:Circular principle for the recycling of waste leaves in the city and product design
Abstract:
Current linear production, which includes the production of materials, manufacturing and the disposal of waste, causes irreversible damage to the environment. In response, more and more manufacturers are using sustainable materials for their products. As society recognizes the need to develop sustainably and reduce its impact on the environment, much of the research is focused on developing materials that are less harmful to the environment, are renewable and recyclable or have a lower carbon footprint. In line with these requirements, our research aims to develop a new bio-composite material that could replace plastics. In the preliminary investigation, a suitable bio-based material was identified from a range of biodegradable materials. The most suitable candidate for a bio-based raw material was leaf waste. The main trial was divided into three phases. In the first phase, the biological binder was developed. The bio composite was then produced from the leaf litter and the bio binder. Its properties were then tested in detail. In the second phase of the main experiment, a service was also developed to enable the materials to be recycled in accordance with the guidelines of the circular economy. In the third phase, the product Lif, a biodegradable plant container, was designed.
