The master's thesis was primarily designed with a desire to manage degraded area of western gravel pit in Vrtojba, where the asphalt plant is situated for decades.
The main goal of this project is to establish a local centre, intended to be the heart of equestrian sport in surrounding area. It would represent a foundation for development of tourism in Goriška region, while contributing to better living environment and overall less pollution. The suggested complex follows, at first sight nonintuitive, principle of double inversion, nevertheless it also embodies the use of local materials and does not impose in the surrounding nature.
