Abstract
Glavni namen naloge je preveriti, ali se lahko zanesemo na natančnost meritev pametnih ur in ali jih lahko uporabljamo v zdravstvene namene. Za potrebe naloge sem primerjal tri različne pametne ure, med katerimi je ključna razlika cenovni razred, v katerega jih uvrščamo. Kot cenejšo pametno uro sem izbral Forever ForeVigo 2 SW-310, kot predstavnico srednjega cenovnega razreda uro Huawei GT FTN-B19 in kot predstavnico višjega cenovnega razreda uro Apple Watch Series 6. Za potrebe naloge sem za referenco uporabil različne namenske merilnike, ki so se razlikovali glede na merjeno veličino. Preverjal sem natančnost meritev srčnega utripa, porabljenih kalorij, pretečene razdalje in nasičenosti krvi s kisikom. Meritve sem izvajal z neinvazivno metodo merjenja; razdelil sem jih na meritve v mirovanju in v gibanju. Za posamezno pametno uro sem izvedel 10 meritev v gibanju in 30 meritev v mirovanju ob dodatku serije 30 meritev nasičenosti krvi s kisikom na uri znamke Apple. Iz rezultatov primerjave je bilo možno razbrati, da cenovni razred vpliva na natančnost izvedenih meritev, saj se je najbolj odrezala ura znamke Apple, ki spada v višji cenovni razred. Razvidna je tudi dobra natančnost pametnih ur pri merjenju fizioloških parametrov, kot sta srčni utrip in nasičenost krvi s kisikom.

Title:Evaluation of the accuracy of smartwatches in measuring health-related parameters
Abstract:
The main purpose of the task is to check whether we can rely on the accuracy of measurements conducted using smartwatches and whether we can use them for medical purposes. During the task, I was testing three different smartwatches, where the main difference was in the price class to which they belong. As the cheaper smartwatch I have selected Forever ForeVigo 2 SW-310, as the representative of the middle price class Huawei GT FTN-B19 and as the representative of the upper price class Apple Watch Series 6. During the task I used different measurement devices as a reference according to the measured parameter. I was checking the accuracy of measured parameters such as heartbeat, calorie burn, travelled distance and blood oxygen saturation. The measurements were conducted via non-invasive measurement methods which I further divided into measurements during movement and measurements while being still. I conducted 10 measurements in movement and 30 measurements while being still for each of the three watches, in addition to a series of 30 measurements for blood oxygen saturation with the Apple watch. We could gather from the conducted measurements that the price class has its effect on the measurement quality, because the best-performing watch was of the upper price class (Apple watch). In addition, we could also conclude that smartwatches can give us solid accuracy of measuring medical parameters such as heartbeat and blood oxygen saturation.
