The thesis presents the entire process of designing, constructing, manufacturing and installing wooden stairs in cooperation with Mizarstvo Jezeršek d.o.o. We made an overview of the different types of stair designs used by Slovenian manufacturers. The methods of work were based on computer - aided construction with the software tools TopSolid and Compass, along with 3D laser scanning, a non - contact measuring method for space capture. Modern planning methods offer significant advantages by reducing planning costs and increasing the accuracy of information. Construction documentation and plans for cutting on a CNC machine were created. The self - supporting wooden stairs with a dynamic floor - plan and wooden railing were installed in a wooden prefabricated residental building.
