In Industry 4.0, manual assembly still plays an important role in the production of all
products, mainly due to its flexibility. In most production systems, the transmission of
information is still most often done orally or on paper. Therefore, as part of the final
assignment, we focused on the analysis of a more modern way of handing over information
about the way assembly operations are carried out to the workers. This is through the
simulation of manual assembly, which allows the user to construct the assembly interactively
in virtual reality. We have created a virtual model that allows visualization and simulation
of manual assembly of the product. As part of the assignment, we carried out a comparative
analysis between conventional training of workers to carry out manual assembly and
learning via virtual reality on the selected product. We found that learning through virtual
reality has some disadvantages compared to the conventional way of transferring knowledge,
however, this form of education has potential for the future.
