Povezanost izbranih spremenljivk meritev »Ironman« z uspešnostjo slovenskih alpskih smučarjev na tekmovanjih FIS

Namen naloge je bil ugotoviti povezanost izbranih spremenljivk testne baterije »Ironman« s tekmovalno uspešnostjo selekcij U15, U17 ter članov v alpskem smučanju. Znotraj omenjenih kategorij smo najprej ugotavljali povezanost posameznih osnovnih spremenljivk testne baterije »Ironman« (3000M, HEX, ZGIBI, DV-TR, SK-BOX) s tekmovalno uspešnostjo na tekmovanjih FIS (REZ-FIS), v drugem delu naloge pa smo želeli potrditi tudi povezanost celotnega sklopa osnovnih spremenljivk baterije (REZ-IRON) s kriterijem uspešnosti oz. izračunom FIS točk (REZ FIS). Rezultati statistične analize pri kategorijah U15 in U17 potrjujejo statistično značilne povezave treh spremenljivk (HEX; p = 0,2; DV-TR; p = 0,01 in SK-BOX; p = 0,00) s tekmovalno uspešnostjo. Pri članih smo ugotovili povezanost ene spremenljivke (HEX; p = 0,02) s tekmovalno uspešnostjo, pri združitvi celotnega vzorca merjencev pa sta bili z uspešnostjo na tekmovanjih statistično značilno povezani spremenljivki HEX (p = 0,01) in DV-TR (p = 0,00). Test agilnosti in eksplozivne moči (HEX) je bil s tekmovalno uspešnostjo povezan v vseh kategorijah, kar nakazuje na precejšno pomembnost testa za trenerje in tekmovalce. V drugem delu naloge smo ugotovili povezanost celotnega sklopa osnovnih spremenljivk baterije s tekmovalno uspešnostjo v kategorijah U15 in U17 (p = 0,00) ter v vseh kategorijah skupaj (p = 0,00).

• Title: The association of selected variables measured in the "Ironman" with the performance of slovenian alpine skiers at FIS competitions

Abstract

The aim of this thesis was to determine the relationship between selected variables from the »Ironman« test battery and competitive performance in U15, U17, and senior categories in alpine skiing. Within these categories, the first step was to identify the correlation between individual basic variables of the »Ironman« test battery (3000M, HEX, PULL-UPS, DV-TR, SK-BOX) and competitive performance in FIS competitions (REZ-FIS). In the second part of the thesis, we aimed to confirm the correlation between the entire set of basic variables of the test battery (REZ-IRON) and the performance criterion, i.e., the calculation of FIS points (REZ-FIS). The results of the statistical analysis in the U15 and U17 categories confirm statistically significant correlations of three variables (HEX; p = 0,2; ST-TR; p = 0,00 and SK-BOX; p = 0,00) with competitive performance. Among the senior athletes, one variable (HEX; p = 0,07) was found to be correlated with competitive performance. When combining the entire sample of subjects, the variables HEX (p = 0,01) and ST-TR (p = 0,00) were statistically significantly correlated with competitive performance. The agility and explosive power test (HEX) was correlated with competitive performance across all categories, indicating its considerable importance for coaches and athletes. In the second part, we found a correlation between the entire set of basic variables of the test battery and competitive performance in the U15 and U17 categories (p = 0,00) as well as across all categories combined (p = 0,00).
