Abstract
Ugotavljali smo vpliv cikličnih klimatskih pogojev na nekatere mehanske lastnosti ivernih in vlaknenih plošč. Uporabili smo vlakneno ploščo,, iverno ploščo, konstrukcijsko iverno ploščo in ploščo z usmerjenim ploščatim iverjem, ki smo jih za 12 mesecev izpostavili cikličnim klimatskim pogojem. Posamezen cikel je trajal 5 tednov in sicer so bili preskušanci 4 tedne izpostavljeni klimi z visoko relativno vlažnostjo (85 +/- 5 %) in 1 teden klimi z (35 +/- 5 %) relativno zračno vlažnostjo. Temperatura je bila 20 +/- 2 °C. Po izpostavljenosti smo zopet ugotavljali nabrek, strižno, razslojno in upogibno trdnost. Ugotovili smo, da je dolga izpostavljenost negativno vplivala na mehanske lastnosti preizkušanih plošč. Najbolj so se zmanjšale lastnosti pri vlakneni plošči, najmanj pa pri konstrukcijski iverni plošči.

Title:Influence of cyclic climatic conditions on some mechanical properties of particle and fiber based boards : graduation thesis - university studies
Abstract:
Thesis researches how cyclical climate conditions affects some mechanical properties of particle and fiber based boards. We used four different boards, fiberboard, particleboard, construction fiberboard, oriented strand board which were exposed 12 months to cyclical climate conditions. Every cycle lasted 5 weeks, 4 weeks test samples were exposed to high relative humidity (85 +/- 5 %) and 1 week to relative humidity (35 +/- 5 %). Temperature was 20 +/- 2 °C. After exposure thickness swelling, shear strength, internal bond and bend strength was measured. We found out that long exposure had negative effect on mechanical properties of tested boards. We noticed the highest loss of mechanical properties at fiberboard and the lowest loss at construction particleboard.
