Abstract
Koeficienti difuzivnosti toplotno obdelanega lesa so nižji od koeficientov neobdelanega lesa, v obeh primerih smo potrdili njihovo naraščanje z naraščajočo temperaturo.

Title:
Diffusivity of natural and heat treated beech wood : M. Sc. thesis
Abstract:
Diffusion is the most important characteristic of wood that determines the speed of dimensional changes in varying climatic conditions. Untreated and heat-treated beech wood (Fagus sylvatica L.) was subject to non-stationary method and finite dimensional method by which it was determined at three different temperature levels the diffusion coefficients depending on wood moisture. Heat-treated wood diffusion coefficients are lower than the coefficients of untreated wood; in both cases it was confirmed that the coefficients grow with increasing temperature. Smaller diffusivity is attributed to the lower moisture of heat-treated wood. Increased wood moisture content faster the diffusion coefficient in untreated wood than in heat-treated wood.
