Abstract
Metode dela: V teoretičnem delu magistrskega dela smo uporabili kombinacijo deskripcije, kompilacije, komparacije in sinteze. Glavni vir analize smo pridobili s pomočjo obstoječe domače in tuje literature, obstoječih zakonskih aktov in pravnih zapisov, na osnovi katerih smo pridobili rezultate. Rezultati: Rezultate smo pridobila s pomočjo primerjave in analize stanja pred umetno prekinitvijo nosečnosti v trinajstih državah. Podatki so nam pokazali, da so postopki in dostopnost do svetovanja pred umetno prekinitvijo nosečnosti v Sloveniji primerljivi z drugimi državami.

Purpose: The purpose of the master's work is to determine the legal regulation of the counseling instrument in Slovenia before artificial termination of pregnancy and to determine the comparability of procedures and accessibility to counseling before artificial termination of pregnancy in Slovenia with other countries.Work methods: In the theoretical part of the master's thesis, we used a combination of description, compilation, comparison and synthesis. The main source of the analysis was obtained with the help of existing domestic and foreign literature, existing legal acts and legal records, on the basis of which we obtained the results. Results: The results were obtained by comparing and analyzing the situation before artificial termination of pregnancy in thirteen countries. We found that Slovenia has a legally regulated counseling instrument before artificial termination of pregnancy. The data showed us that procedures and access to counseling before artificial termination of pregnancy in Slovenia are comparable to other countries. Discussion and conclusion: The results show that Slovenia and most of the other countries that we analyzed have a legally regulated situation before artificial termination of pregnancy. Based on the results, we can conclude that accessibility and counseling before artificial termination of pregnancy is a process that, with its existence, proves the democracy of modern countries and their willingness to protect basic human rights. In the future, similar research should be extended to the level of accessibility to psychological support.
