Abstract
V diplomskem delu smo na podlagi gradbenega načrta stanovanja C1.2.6 v projektu Lagom Črnuški Bajer izdelali 3D model stanovanja in ga predstavili v obliki virtualnega sprehoda. Upodobitve smo izvozili v obliki 360-stopinjskih panoram, ki smo jih nato s pomočjo programa 3D Vista združili v virtualni sprehod in izdelali uporabniški vmesnik.

Title:Virtual tour through new build
Abstract:
The bachelor’s thesis Črnuški Bajer apartment C1.2.6 where we created a 3D model of the apartment and presented it in the form of a virtual tour. In the theoretical part, we researched the required software and the principles of photorealism, which will help us with rendering. The experimental part consists of preparation where we became familiarized with the architectural plans and materials that need to be used in our visualizations. In Blender, we modeled basic shapes and objects whereas for more complex models, we used online libraries, such as Blender Kit and Poliigon. Then we assigned physically correct materials to the models and added light to our scene to create a photorealistic scene. We rendered our images in 360-degree panoramas and compiled the virtual tour with the help of 3D Vista. We then created user interface and added personalization to the apartment with the help of virtual staging that allows the user to swap materials. The results are considerably close to photorealism and the virtual tour successfully represents the new build. During the process, we learned that achieving complete photorealism is a complicated procedure that requires experience on top of theoretical knowledge. With the use of an alpha channel, we rendered only the parts that are chaining materials and successfully lowered the file size, which resulted in faster loading times. Despite high-performance components, we are still required to optimize our scene in Blender because there is an enormous count of polygons and models present.
