Abstract
Stres lahko doživijo ljudje v vsakdanjem življenju v organizacijah, povezan je tudi z motiviranostjo zaposlenih. Namen diplomskega dela je bil raziskati prisotnost stresa med zaposlenimi v Občini Celje ter ugotoviti, ali obstaja povezanost med stresom in motiviranostjo zaposlenih za delo. Prav tako se je želelo ugotoviti, kateri so dejavniki stresa in kakšen vpliv imajo na zaposlene. Raziskovanje je bilo izvedeno z anketiranjem. Najpomembnejša ugotovitev je, da povezanost med motivacijo in stresom pri zaposlenih na Občini Celje ne obstaja. V raziskavi je bilo ugotovljeno, da pri zaposlenih na Občini Celje ni zaznana pretirana prisotnost stresa. Bolj izrazito je bilo notranje motiviranje. Zaposlenim je treba dodeliti naloge, ki jih veselijo in zanimajo. Vzpostaviti je treba tudi zaupanje med zaposlenimi in nadrejenimi, zagotoviti delovne naloge, kjer bo izpostavljena možnost izražanja zaposlenih, ponuditi priložnosti za izpopolnjevanje znanja in spretnosti ter jih ustrezno motivirati z jasno zastavljenimi cilji, priznanji najboljšim in odprto komunikacijo. V namen zmanjšanja stresa pa je treba med zaposlenimi odpraviti konflikte in urediti delovni čas ter jim ponuditi možnosti izobraževanja o obvladovanju stresa na delovnem mestu.

Title:The relationship between stress and motivation among employees in the Municipality of Celje
Abstract:
Stress can be experienced by people in everyday life in organizations, it is also related to the motivation of employees. The purpose of the thesis was to investigate the presence of stress among employees in the Municipality of Celje and to determine whether there is a connection between stress and employee motivation for work. We also wanted to find out what the stress factors are and what impact they have on employees. The research was conducted by surveying. The most important finding is that there is no connection between motivation and stress among employees in the Municipality of Celje. In the research, it was established that there is no excessive presence of stress among the employees of the Municipality of Celje. Internal motivation was more pronounced. It is necessary to assign tasks that please and interest employees. It is also necessary to establish trust between employees and superiors, provide work tasks where the opportunity for employees to express themselves will be highlighted, offer opportunities for improving knowledge and skills, and motivate them accordingly with clearly set goals, , recognition of the best and open communication. In order to reduce stress, it is necessary to eliminate conflicts between employees and to regulate working hours, and to offer them opportunities for education on managing stress in the workplace.
