In November 2023, the ZEPDSV-A amendment came into effect in Slovenia that updated the existing law on working time records. The changes to the law increased the amount of data that an employer must track for each employee. In this thesis we will describe the design and development of an information system for working time recording that enables employers to keep records that comply with the updated law.
The information system consists of a web application, a back-end server, a database and a mobile application. The web application is designed to view and manage company data, while the mobile application is designed to read NFC tags and record events. In the development we focused on data clarity with simple interfaces and the use of modern web technologies such as Angular, .NET and MySQL. We conclude the thesis with a use case of the system and possible improvements.
